Annette and Inga

Annette and Inga Humpe, two sisters who have influenced German music since the 1980s, were painted by Matthias Koeppel in the Charlottenburg Palace park.The portrait's title and Queen Louise’s mausoleum in the background indicate the very different way famous people were venerated in the past.
