Glamorous film premiere

To celebrate the world premiere of the film, New York mayor Fiorello La Guardia hosted a banquet at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. 500 guests attended. The speeches by Max Reinhardt and Albert Einstein were broadcast on the radio.
