It was with this collection that Imcha Imchen became the first designer from Nagaland to participate in a national fashion show. The photos still mean a lot to him: “I was travel-ling around Kohima district for inspiration behind my first collection and the villages around Kohima area captivated me. We shot these images at Kigwema Village and Mima Village. These villages had their old architecture preserved. My niece travelled all the way from Mokokchung town to model for my designs. All the textiles were made in Nagaland.”
