Lectures on Psychology and Anthropology
- Lecture Notebook, Manuscript
- Friedrich Blanck (Schreiber)
- Berlin (Stadt)
- 1885
In 1939, the library of the Berlin University (today Humboldt-Universität) received numerous lecture notes from the estate of the former student Friedrich Blanck. Based on these so-called lecture notebooks, studying at the end of the 19th century can be well understood. Blanck wrote down the gist of every lecture. He made comments on individual passages or, when looking through them later, highlighted statements he found important. His critical examination of the “doctrine” is particularly revealed in the line inserted in capital letters: “DIES BEZWEIFLE ICH” (I doubt that!), with which he contradicted one of the professor’s theses.
